Child Support - How Much Do I Pay if My Spouse Has Primary Placement?

If your spouse or ex-spouse has primary placement of the children, you will be ordered to pay a percentage of your gross income toward child support.  The guideline amounts are as follows:    1.   17% for one child

2.   25% for two children

3.   29% for three children

4.   31% for four children

5.   34% for five children

The court can deviate from these guidelines for various reasons such as if the payor provides health insurance for the minor children.
